Top 5 Perfumes..I loike!!
Which gal can resist perfumes?? I have tried and tested many perfumes eversince I was a teenager and I cant help clinging on to those I love most..
My top 5 favourites... and I shall tell u why.. *wink wink*
My number one on the list is Bvlgari Rose Essentielle. This is my classic favourite. My husband got this for me like 7 years ago and I keep buying this whenever it runs dry..Til today its a "must-have" in my beauty closet. Its better to get it during xmas season as it always comes with the lotions together... The lotion and perfume combo is simply perfect.
Tip: Dab a few drops of lotions on your neck and back, around your wrist before u go to bed.. simply aromatic!! Works for me.. everytime!! :)
Love by Chloe
I love this scent. Its classic and feminine at the same time. Its just Chloe signature, I guess, combining a bit of both. I got the small one 50ml at home.. tuck in to my evening bag whenever I am out dining with friends or hubby. Great for dinner and work as well.
Flora by Gucci
Just like its name.. it has floral scents that picks up your mood in the morning.. Gives u that fresh headstart.. I used this scent for work..keeps the mood perks up and cheerful..
Ange ou Demon by Givenchy
I got this on my 25th birthday.. and after that this is like the second must have in my beauty closet. It became a very very must have after I got married.. LOL.. no.. I am serious..Simply perfect for a romantic scent for day out or ..perhaps.. day in? :)
2 words for it - Classically Irresistable!

Poppy by Coach
When Coach came up with their own signature perfumes, I have many doubts on this.. its pretty normal I guess.. but I did take my chance to try this new scent from Coach and quiet honestly, I didnt regret it. This is has more feminine and sweet inside yet it still brings out that classic scent in you.. Love it.. Suitable for my daily day out, work or perhaps everyday use.

Benefit - Realness of Concealness
Benefit - Realness of Concealness
This palette is all about concealing. Conceal your blemish, ur dark circle and all those imperfect lines or pores or scars using only this small palette.
It has Boing, Lemon Aid, Lip Plump, High beam and Ooh La La.
These are very good combos and and since its pocket-sized makes it even easier for travel. Of all the combo in this palette, I love most in Lemon Aid and Boing. Boing is a damn good concealer. Not only it covers dark circle, it also helps to cover those acne scars. It blends nicely to the skin and it has this non drying effects, making it more like an enhancement to the liquid foundation that you are using.
I got this online from Lush & Rouge.
The best concealler in a pocket, I would call it.. I bring it with me in my small make up bag..

Sephora Singapore
I used to remember that I have always went to the one at Ngee Ann City.. Love my shopping there and then they open up at Ion Orchard which is much bigger space but now, I dont really prefer to go there as it tends to be over crowded.
They have a few outlet now..
Ngee Ann City
Iluma (Opposite Bugis Junction)
Ion Orchard
Great World City
Marina Bay Sand
I love the fact that they have many brands under one wing and its so easy to get the things u need.. from lip gloss to skincare to perfumes...
Now if u ask me which is the best outlet for me, I love the ones @ Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City. Why?
I love the fact that I can shop in peace... no hassle of crowds and I can get the staff's attention quicker and more reliant.
Comparing before and after, Sephora has improved so much.. I recalled , a few years back when Sephora first opened its first outlet, I get to see some of their staffs recommending me stuffs that made me go..." and the outcome is written on your face?"... shucks.. before I start to bitch further.. I think they have taken in more nicer and pleasant looking staffs to advise on beauty products.
Nonetheless,
Sephora is one place I would go looking for my beauty needs. . . .

Disappointed with Smoochiezz
Ever heard of Smoochiezz??
I came across them when they set up a booth just above Tanjong Pagar MRT station. They sell MAC, NYX and many other products at a reasonably cheap price. At first I doubt judging from the price tag.. then I purchase this MAC Studio Fix from them for only SGD$28.00. Retail stores are selling at SGD$40++ .
Used it for about a month now and I keep getting breakouts on my face. I kept thinking "could it be my moisturizer or my cleanser?" I changed my moisturizer and my cleanser and still the breakouts came back. I was using this Laura Mercier Foundation with my MAC powder. Used it before..(before, I purchase my MAC studio fix powder from MAC retail stores) and went fine until now..
I have never doubt the creditablity of Laura mercier. Most of the make up artist out there have sworn on Laura Mercier and having to used it for 3 years now, I believe in Laura Mercier myself. So I thought, could it be my powder?
Then I resort to a friend who happen to give me a link below and when I went thru it, OMG!!!!!!
http://smoochiezz.livejournal.com/676329.html
The MAC studio fix that I have purchase from Smoochiezz has this code .."B21" which actually means its A SECOND RUN ON FEB 2001!!!
WTH!!!
2001??? This is 2013!!!!!!
The powder was more than 10 years old.
My question was, " are they allowed to sell products which has already expires??"
I was totally disappointed with them.. To think they have a link to tell us how to see a fake MAC... well, better fake than expired, right???
I am super upset with this fact! And get this... I am not buying from Smoochiezz anymore.. I am not asking you people to boycott them but be wary of the products they sell. And if u ever came across their booth, better check WHEN is that product manufactured?
This is our face that we are talking about.. so be careful ya.. I dont bother to go to them and complaint about it cause for all we know, they will definitely deny it.. but I am seriously sure about this. From now on, I am heading to the MAC retail counters to purchase all my MAC products.
Pay PEANUTS and u get MONKEYS.. Yeah thats what u get buying from booth that claim they are parallel importers and not distributors.
To Smoochiezz, U have lost my trust on this and I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from you guys again..

Fine One One - Benefit
Fine One One - Benefit
Fine-one-one to the rescue! This sheer brightening cheek & lip color gives your look instant LIFT, SHAPE and POP. Glide on the three shades—pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral—for a sheer coral pink flush that builds from soft & natural to bright & cheery.
My Verdict-
As we all know, Benefit is known for their one stop for all product. This Fine One One is both used for cheeks and lips. The winning point of this product was its coral colour. Which also meant for all to use. It gives that sheer and young fresh look for all.

Stila - Champagne Glow
Stila
Eye Shadow Trio - Champagne Glow
In honor of golden goddesses everywhere, we bring you a new shade to the resort collection. The shades are fresh and bright and boast a high pearl content for gorgeous sheer shimmer. The trio features soft pink, cool taupe and rich brown shades. size: 0.17 oz
My reviews:
I bought this from Lush Rouge & Co. An online site that brings in cosmetics that are hardly found in Singapore. They have quite a number of brands like Laura Mercier, Duwop, and many others.. I picked this Stila eyeshadow trio in Champagne Glow.. What caught my eyes was the packaging of this eyeshadow.. wrapped in Gold casing, the shadows has this bump like when u buy any mineralised products.. but this is not a mineralised eyes-shadows.
I put it on the next day working out my smokey look.. I applied "cool taupe" on my eyelid and work out my black eyeshadows from Make Up Store (this part u can pick any black or greyish black but not those glitter black shadows for the crease..else u'll get glitters all over your eye area..) The colour are not highly pigmented but its enough to create a smooth and blend look.. I'd say its prefect for daily wear or to the office-look. Of course u can still wear this for a night out, using more bolder colours to blend in to the crease area..
If u are the kind that always rush off w/o having to make up at home, then this is definitely a good buy.. I carried it along wherever and whenever I travel.. Its a MUST have in my handbag apart from my lipgloss. :)

Make Up Forever HD primer
Make up Forever HD Microperfecting Primer
A lightweight, oil-free complexion corrector that enhances the skin's texture and primes the skin for makeup application. It a primer that deeply nourishes, moisturizes and create this glowing effects. It does what other primers in the market does, creating a protective layer on the skin to allow foundation to glide on easily and at the same time give a long lasting to the foundation application. I have been using primers since I met and fall in love with one.. ( but I am not gonna name the brand I am currently using..just as yet.. as I am reviewing on this Make Up Forever primers first..)
This brand comes with 6 color correcting shades and one transparent shade. I love the one in Yellow.. which is "Blend"..
Transparent - Nuetral (Adds natural luminosity to the complexion)
Green - Minimise redness
Mauve - Counteracts sallow undertones
Caramel - combats asshiness in medium to dark skin tones
Blue - adds radiance to fair skin / reduce minor imperfections
Yellow - lightens dark complexion
Pink - brightens the complexion / counteracts sallow undertones
I picked Yellow (Blend) to lighten those unwanted pimple scars on my face.. yes..I do get pimples once in a while.I am only HUMAN..
When I first came across this brand, and while the MUA was explaining to me the benefits of this products, my eyes just couldnt help it with so many colours.. worst when I saw one of the primer in blue.. and I was like...."Yucks..who would want to apply a blue primers on their face?" Then I learnt they are just like any other primers..
Sold in Sephora Singapore. Not quite sure how much exactly it cost but I remember it being like $60 over.
Rate: 2.5/5
Reason being that its too pricey for a primer..quality wise is so-so.. cause its in a form of liquid. Packaging wise does not tempt me on buying this product.. Its tall and could not fit my travel make up bag. Oh on top of that, I could not find their MUA at their counter every time I made a trip down to Sephora.. I always ended up talking to one of the staffs in Sephora which later on they will recommend me other better brands.. like Smashbox, for example!

Dangerous Palette -> Urban Decay
Urban Decay latest palette - The Dangerous Palette~!
Yes it is now sold in Sephora, Singapore. Gorgeous case with great colours.
I gotta admit that the colours they have in this palette is exceptionally Gorgeous. Not for someone who loves sweet and dainty colours. Great colours for the day and night. I would use "Oilslick" for the crease and the rest of the colours are great for the lid. Remember to use the primer first!! :) Seriously I love "Rockstar" and "Mildew"
I would love to have this in my collection but unfortunately I didnt, mainly cause I have other Urban Decay palettes that has these colours in them.. so if I add this to my collection, I would have like 5 or 6 duplicate colours. Quite a waste for me but its great for beginners or for those who have yet to own any Urban Decay eye-shadows.. Seriously these stuff works wonders..Highly pigmented and long wearing when worn together with Urban Decay eye-potion (primer)
Rate: 4/5
Price: 3.5/5
(yes, its pretty pricey when it came to Singapore but u may want to put it as your Xmas wish list..whoops that would be like 7-8 months time before u call it, "its mine!")

Wish for Nars.. . .
Nars
I just wish that Sephora in Singapore would consider bringing in this brand from NARS.. I know there is a lot of u out there who has been waiting for this brand to come to Singapore.Unfortunately u cant find NARS on the shelves of Sephora. I know of some online seller who is doing sprees for NARS.. and its not cheap. So many actually sought consultation through Sephora in Facebook to plead for these brand.
What I dont understand is why Sephora would not want to bring NARS in when there is so many people out there enquiring for this brand??
Can someone enlighten me about it?
